Sarkodie has mostly come under criticism for blocking the shine of upcoming/fast-rising artists after collaborating with them on a song.
Some are of the belief that Sarkodie deliberately features upcoming artists for free or drops a verse on their song just to overshadow them and hamper their growth.
A Ghanaian social media user identified on Twitter as @Founda has accused Sarkodie of blocking Black Sherif’s shine after the latter featured on the Tema-based rapper’s ‘Countryside’ song.
According to the social media user, Black Sherif has never been the same after collaborating with Sarkodie.
@Founda_ opines Sarkodie deliberately collaborated with Black Sherif in order to block his shine as Black Sherif has failed to produce a hit since then.
