Celtic right-back Jeremie Frimpong is set to complete a deal to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the coming days, according to the Daily Record.
The 20-year-old, according to reports, is expected to join the German outfit after Celtic manager Neil Lennon confirmed the club had accepted an offer in excess of £10m for the defender.

Frimpong recently played down reported interest in him from Serie A giants Roma. But the youngster has since told Lennon he wants to leave the Glasgow side during the current transfer window.
Per the report, the defender has two years remaining on his deal with Celtic. The Netherlands U20 international made an immediate impact at Celtic Park when he signed from Manchester City in 2019.
He failed to make an appearance in the Premier League but the Record reports City retain a 30% sell-on fee. Lennon has admitted defeat in his pursuits to keep the exciting youngster at Celtic.

Frimpong’s debut season in Scotland was a huge success. He made 14 league appearances to help his side lift their ninth successive league title. The right-back also played a role as the club secured the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup for another treble.
The versatile youngster has made more than 50 appearances for the club, playing at right-back, left-back and right midfield.
