Late footballer Christian Atsu’s wife, Marie-Claire Rupio broke down in tears as she tried to read the tribute she had written in honour of her late husband.
Christian Atsu’s wife was accompanied by her three children,namely; Joshua Christian Rupio Twasam,Godwin Rupio Twasam,Abigail Rupio Twasam and the player’s sister Christiana Atsupie Twasam to read the tribute at the funeral which was held at the forecourt of the State House on Friday,17th March,2023.
However,an emotional Marie could not finish reading her tribute and had Atsu’s sister continue on her behalf while taking a step back to dry her tears.
