Frank Lampard has been sacked as Everton manager with the club currently in 19th position in the premier league and having lost eight of their last nine games in all competitions.
The former Chelsea midfielder has been dismissed following Saturday’s dismal 2-0 defeat against West Ham.
The former England midfielder spoke with owner Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright over the weekend,along with director of football Kevin Thelwell,and had accepted things will change after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at West Ham.
While the club search for a new manager,club legend Leighton Baines,who is in charge od the Under 18s,and Under 21 head coach Paul Tait are in line to oversee the day-to-day matters.
