A Ghanaian lady identified on TikTok as @frema_slayqueen shared a video of herself on TikTok crying out about the high cost of rent in Accra.
The lady pleaded with Landlords to have mercy on tenants and said it looks like people lived and worked in Accra only to give all their hard-earned monies to landlords.
She further said that Kasoa which used to be an affordable neighbourhood where people could afford to rent with GH¢300 is now expensive.

The TikToker also said real estate agents are worsening the plight of renters since they collect whatever little money is left from tenants after they find accommodation.
She also said in the video that her rent is due and all attempts to make her landlord give her more time to pay her rent proved futile.
