Ghanaian Musician, King Promise’s lookalike known as Robest has revealed in a phone interview with Ghpage that he wanted iPhone from the Highlife singer but he gifted him a Hisense phone instead.
Recall earlier this year that Robest who is known to be King Promise’s look-alike in a TikTok video begged him to buy him a new phone.
Robest in the video begged the musician to get him a smartphone as he was in dire need of it.
The desperate chap hilariously opened a bible and quoted scriptures related to the act of giving.
Well, God listened to his prayers and King Promise dashed him a Hisense smartphone.
However, Robest in a phone interview with GHPage revealed that he requested an iPhone 12 from King Promise but he gifted him a Hisense phone because he is a brand ambassador for Hisense.
He said he knows King Promise would have given him the iPhone he requested if not his contractual bond with Hisense.
Robest believes King Promise will one day buy him a house as he boldly stated that in the interview.
King Promise’s lookalike has come under intense criticism for gathering several lookalikes and charging them GH¢ 500 for joining the lookalike gang.
Medikal, Shatta Wale, Femaye and other artistes have come out to speak against celebrity lookalikes using their brands for financial gains and advised they desist from such act.
