Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) Artiste of the year, Diana Hamilton has disclosed that she knew her hit song ‘Adom’ would grab the ‘most popular song of the year’ at the just held VGMA 22.
Diana Hamilton did not only win the ultimate award ‘artiste of the year’ at the VGMA 22 but also won Gospel artiste of the year, gospel song of the year and popular song of the year.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s ‘Day Break Hitz show’ monitored by alreadyviral.com, Diana Hamilton averred that she knew that his hit song ‘Adom’ would win the most popular song of the year.
According to Diana Hamilton, although she knew the hit song would win the highly coveted award, she was surprised it won the category.
“I knew Adom would win the most popular song of the year. Adom was the song. It’s not like it didn’t deserve it or anything. However, I was surprised Adom won that category” Diana Hamilton.
Diana Hamilton’s ‘Adom’ song won ahead of Atta Adwoa by Bosom P Yung, No Dulling by Keche featuring Kuami Eugene, Enjoyment by Kidi, Ekorso by Kofi Jamar, Open Gate by Kuami Eugene, La Hustle by Medikal, Happy day by Sarkodie, Kidi’s say cheese, Darkovibes’ Inna song and Sore by Yaw Tog.
