The Chief Executive Officer of Lynx Entertainment Record label, Richie Mensah has cleared the air that he is not part of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) board.
According to him, charterhouse does not permit record label owners or artist managers and manageress to be on board of the most recognized awards event in Ghana.
During an interview monitored by browngh.com, Richie said since he started managing artists in Ghana on his record label, he has been on the board of VGMA just for once.
He explained that when he was called to be part of the board, he was not having any artist on his record label.
The following year after signing MzVee, Richie said he was sidelined from the board because our policies of the game kick against artist managers.
He, therefore, charged Ghanaians to stop thinking negatively about him because he has no idea.
He also said since he started investing in music and signing musicians, he has won only one Artist Of Year via Kuami Eugene, adding that if he’s part of the board, he would have helped his artist win more of the titles.
