'Mason believes he’s finished': Greenwood reportedly believes he won't ever play for Man United again

According to The Sun, Mason Greenwood has told his pals that he will never play for Man United again.

“Mason believes he’s finished at United,” a source reportedly said.

“He’s sat at home kicking his heels and very frustrated.

“He wants to get back playing football but realises his situation is very complicated and it’s his own doing.

“He is determined to play football again but doesn’t think he’ll ever pull on a United shirt ever again.”

The 21-year-old is no longer under criminal charges for attempted rape and assault. However, Man United are continuing an internal investigation. It’s been going on for 12 weeks already, and the player is no closer to being back.

Besides, Greenwood’s return to the team would not be accepted by the women’s team, as well as some of his teammates’ partners.

At this point, the most likely outcome is that the forward will have to go abroad to restart his career after a 15-month absence.
