Constable Emmanuel Osei’s father has taken a bite of his son’s death a day after the news got to the attention of Ghanaians.
During an exclusive intern with Citi News monitored by www.alreadyviral.com, even though the death of his son has swept every single soul in the country off his or her feet, the family will be greatly honored if Emmanuel’s death serves as an end to the killing of Police officers in their line of duty.
He seized the opportunity to highlight the need for Ghana Police to get the necessary equipment to aid them to discharge their duties effectively and secure their lives as well.
The father of the deceased said even though his heart is soaked with blood, he believes his son’s death will serve as a good purpose in the long run and be a scar on the heart of Ghanaians.
“My son is dead; I will not say I’m counting on him, but from my observation, the security service is always left ajar; so they should be protected so that they can work well and protect us”, he said.
General Constable Emmanuel Osei was killed by armed robbers on Monday when he was on escort duty in a Bullion van. A woman was also killed when the robbers attacked.
