Samini has refuted claims that Kofi Kinaata abandoned his record label, High Grade Family.
He made this known in an interview with Yen.com.gh.
There were widespread rumours that Kofi Kinaata abandoned the High Grade Family Record Label after getting the fame with the help of Samini.
However, Samini in the interview rubbished such claims as he disclosed that the ‘Made in Taadi’ hitmaker left after he successfully completed his five-year contract with his record label.
According to Samini he always let artists work on their own when he feels people under him are ready to be on their own.
“I do not want to keep people when I feel or see that everything is set for that person to be on his own. I let them go and support them in any way I can,” he said
The ‘Obaa’ hitmaker emphasized by saying that he likes to help people with his money and other resources to push them to the top.
He indicated that he is in a good relationship with Kofi Kinaata and that the latter consults him for advice in his music career.
