Acting president of Musicians Union of Ghana(MUSIGA), Bessa Simons has disclosed that there is no dancehall artiste in Ghana.
Speaking in a phone interview with Adu Kumi on Asempa FM, Besa Simons disclosed that no one is doing dancehall in Ghana because they are all doing highlife.
“There is no dancehall artiste in Ghana, they are all doing dancehall. Were they born in Jamaica to be claiming dancehall? They are copying the Jamaicans but they are doing highlife” Besa Simons said in an interview on Asempa FM monitored by www.alreadyviral.com.
This comes as a subtle shade to the likes of Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy,Jupita, Ras Kukku, Epixode, AK Songstress and other artists who claimed to be dancehall artists.
