Yvonne Nelson is known for expressing her opinion on National issues and was praised by many when she led a Dumsor Must End demonstration to put pressure on the then sitting NDC government to act fast, something that changed the dumsor situation although they were not happy with it.
This solicited generally affirmative reactions from her followers who shared their own evidence of the hardship they are confronted with in their lives while others tried to motivate her.
