VIDEO: Papa Shee Narrates How God Called Him To Preach His Word
Ghanaian Hiplife/ highlife musician who is now an evangelist recounted how God called him to preach His word in a recent interview.
Papa Shee who was known for his profane songs and his controversial lyrics narrated in an interview on Accra based radio station, Hitz Fm how God called Him after he severally rejected His(God) call.
According to the ‘Koyon so’ crooner, his call came when he was at the airport about to travel to London for a show and he heard the voice of God telling him to go back and do His work.
He added that the ‘voice’ cautioned him that if he ignores his call and travels for the show, his plane will be involved in a crash.
He further stated that at that point in time he was so confused and did not know what to do.
Papa Shee indicated that he had no option than to forfeit his trip.
“God heard my prayers and saved me from a plane crash. I should have started preaching his word at that time but I didn’t know where to start from so I went on to promote my song ‘Disco Wesco’ video and decided to keep the Lord’s calling to myself and went on to record another song. I was going to London with Nana Kwame, Obrafour, VIP and Reggie Rockstone for a show. When we got to Kotoka international airport, God opened my eyes again and told me that if I don’t get down from the plane and do His work, I will not get to my destination because the plane will crash. So I got down from the plane. I left all my bags on the plane for that moment they didn’t know what was going on and I could not also tell anyone that this is what the Lord wants me to do. I called my brother to come pick me from the airport. ” he told Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz show.
