Why is ‘Rejected’ trending on Twitter
The word ‘Rejected’ is trending because Wantaway Manchester United Striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been rejected by 6 super clubs.
Recall that Cristiano Ronaldo a few weeks ago asked Manchester United to listen to offers for him this summer as he is reportedly desperate to play for a team in the Champions League since Man United qualified for Europa League.
In the midst of the drama Ronaldo has been linked to several super clubs like Bayern Munich,Barcelona,Manchester City, Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) Chelsea among others but it seems none of the teams are interested in signing the 38-year-old.
The respective teams one way or the other have debunked rumours that they want to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
What sprung up the ‘Rejected’ trend was after reports today indicated that PSG rejected the chance to sign Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo after being offered to the club by his agent Jorge Mendes.
Ronaldo wants to compete for trophies, though there are few clubs who could afford his astronomical £ 500,000 a week salary.
Well, some tweeps have jumped on the news to troll Cristiano Ronaldo for getting far too many rejections from top clubs as he is desperate to leave Manchester United.
